A cracked or warped rocker cover causes oil leaks onto the exhaust manifold, creating smoke, burning smells, and a fire risk. It also allows oil vapour to escape the crankcase ventilation system, leading to oil consumption and a fouled intake. If you notice an oil leak from the top of the engine, a burning smell after driving, or oil residue around the cam cover gasket area, this cover is the likely culprit.

This direct-fit replacement features 4 coil pack apertures for the direct ignition system, an integrated PCV breather port for the crankcase ventilation circuit, gold-coloured brass bolt inserts for secure, corrosion-resistant fastening, and a detailed inner baffle structure to separate oil mist from blow-by gases — specific to the Ford Duratec 1.5 and 1.6 4-cylinder engine.
