A cracked or warped rocker cover causes oil leaks onto the exhaust manifold, creating smoke, burning smells, and a fire risk. It also allows oil vapour to escape the crankcase ventilation system, leading to oil consumption and a fouled intake. If you notice an oil leak from the top of the engine, a burning smell after driving, or oil residue around the cam cover gasket area, this cover is the likely culprit.
This direct-fit replacement features 5 coil pack apertures for the direct ignition system, an integrated PCV breather port, silver steel bolt studs for secure fastening, and a pronounced curved end profile with detailed inner baffle structure — specific to the Ford Duratec 1.4 and 1.6 engine as fitted to the Figo and Fiesta. Note the different stud and aperture configuration compared to the EcoSport/Focus 1.5/1.6 cover — verify your engine before ordering.

Note: We strongly recommend replacing the cam cover gasket and spark plug tube seals at the same time — these are the most common source of oil leaks on this engine and are inexpensive insurance against a repeat job. Do not confuse with the EcoSport/Focus 1.5/1.6 rocker cover which has 4 coil pack apertures and gold bolt inserts.
